This is a function, which I used in the past in other apps to get rid of bills and other pieces of paper, as soon as possible.
One remark: some people might use special document “scanner” apps. They have advantages like straighten out pictures, remove dirt or similar and even do OCR. I do not know how hard it is, but an option to change the app with which you add the pictures could be really helpful.
But for me, the standard camera app is doing it just fine, too.
